About AlgoViz

Last updated

AlgoViz is a free, hand-drawn book of algorithms: animated, step-by-step walkthroughs of the Data Structures & Algorithms patterns that come up in coding interviews, with the running line of pseudocode beside every step and C++, Java and Python solutions.

It is made by Chirag Kushwaha, an independent developer. There are no accounts, no ads and no paywall — every walkthrough is free to read.

How the content is made

Each animation is generated by running the actual algorithm on a sample input and recording every step, so what you watch is the real trace, not a drawing of it. Problems are grouped by the pattern that solves them, from brute force to the optimal approach, with time and space complexity for each.
